Bandits VS Pirates - a Custom PvP Map for Don't Starve Together

Bandits VS Pirates (or War of the Seas) is a custom map for Don't Starve Together created by Gi-Go exclusively for PvP battles.

The introductory part of the map is a lobby where players gather before the battle begins. Once all participants have assembled, they jump into wormholes leading to four corner locations of the map. These locations, although different in shape, offer the same basic resources for a start.

After gathering the basic resources, players can build a boat and embark on a sea voyage in search of more valuable materials.

The map exploration is not required - a scroll found at the beginning of the game completely removes the Fog of War. This allows new players to quickly learn the map and start planning their survival and domination strategies.

Players face a choice: stock up on resources for long-term survival or find a powerful weapon and attack opponents while they are not ready for defense. Should one rely on luck, or will basic resources be enough to sink the enemy's ship? Is it better to stay close to basic resources, or to occupy the fortress in the middle of the map?

Overall, the map provides a vast space for players' imagination, making each game diverse with a creative approach.

1. Download this file and extract its content ("Bandits_VS_Pirates_24_goats.zip").

2. Create a new world or duplicate an existing one in Don't Starve Together. Then open a world's folder.

3. Replace the folder's content with downloaded files.

4. Subscribe to all 8 mods from this collection. These mods slightly tweak DST gameplay to fit the map, such as: increasing Ghost speed to follow players, enabling 8 players to join the server and disabling some OP characters for PvP such as Wortox.

5. Reload the game.

From the very beginning, have some sort of tactic and stick to it.
